The courtyard garden was designed with the help of the
dutchman Piet Oudolf who is in the vanguard of the 'New
Perennial' planting movement, a movement which strives
for a more naturalistic look in gardens by using carefully
selected, rather wild-looking, perennials and placing an
emphasis on grasses.
Piet is now renowned worldwide and, among his many
projects, has designed parks for in both central Chicago
and downtown Manhattan.
