A second garden, designed by the leading minimalist
Christopher Bradley-Hole, was added five years ago.
In contrast to the courtyard garden, this garden is a grid of
paths intersecting large square beds. These are edged with
rusted steel and are planted with swathes of tall grasses
intermingled with carefully selected flowering perennials
to create the atmosphere of a dream-like meadow.
The tranquil heart of the garden is a simple square black
pool overlooked by an innovative contemporary structure.
